James "Hoot" Ruffin Chandler

James " Hoot" Chandler, 50, of Newport, died Friday March 9, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at later date.
Hoot was a member of the Lineman Association for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Renee Chandler of the home: a son Brandon Chandler of Beaufort: parents James Luke and Judy Chandler of Beaufort: sisters Hazelle Chandler Garner of Hope Mills, NC and Anita Chandler Buttry of Beaufort: brother David Innis of Newport.
He was preceded in death by his mother Bettena Chandler.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request memorial donations be made to the Beaufort Original Free Will Baptist Church 524 West Beaufort Rd. Beaufort, NC 28516.
