James "Frank" Carney

Frank Carney, 72, of Morehead City, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at PruittHealth in New Bern.
A graveside service for Frank will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Gethsemane Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Smith officiating.
Frank loved painting, fishing, clamming, and flounder gigging. He enjoyed being on the water and getting oysters.
Frank is survived by sisters; Lois Carney of Jacksonville, Marie Irwin of TN, Lynette Spivey of Hubert; brother, Richard Canfield of Swansboro, and his caregiver; Janet Welch of Newport.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Clifton Carney and Jeannie Hayes Carney; and brother; Clifton Carney.
A visitation for Frank will be held on from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
