James Allen Wright, 68, of Newport, NC, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery.
He honorably served the US Navy for 21 years. After his military career he gained employment with Lockhead-Martin as a electronic tech and continued in that field until retirement with Metric at MCAS Cherry Point. He was a member of the Honda Gold Wing Club in which he enjoyed riding for several charities.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dillon Wright of Newport; two sons, Bryan Wright and wife Lisa and Tim Wright and wife Amanda all of Newport; sister, Diana Langenheizen of Wisconsin; three brothers, Bill Wright, Dennis Wright, and Jerry Wright all of Wisconsin; and four grandchildren, Erin, Hunter, Alyssa and Shelby.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
