James Thomas "Jay Bird" Willis, 51, of Williston, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Willis enjoyed being self-employed as a truck driver. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for several construction companies.
Services will be ehld 2:00 pm Sunday in Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Willard officiating. Interment will follow in Willis Family Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Dawn Willis of Gloucester; mother, Marcella Willis of Williston; two sisters, Susan Ramsey of the home and Velvet Gillikin and husband Rex of Williston. Also surviving are four nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Willis and a brother, Stephen Willis.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home.
