James “Bonner” Williams, 67, of Newport, passed away Tuesday March 29, 2016 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, April 1, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel, Morehead City. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park with military honors.
James served in the Army where he received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
He is survived by his wife, Dare Williams of the home; stepdaughter, Paige Pence-Chavers; stepson, Bryon Pence and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Dora Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Munden Funeral Home.
