James Walker Moore,Sr., 67, of Beaufort, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2012 at The Original Free Will Baptist Church in Beaufort with Rev. David Vesper and Rev. James Gurganus officiating.
Mr. Moore was a member of The Original Free Will Baptist Church, and served as a deacon for over 33 years.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lupton Moore of the home; daughter, Belinda M. Fay and husband Bryan of Beaufort; son, James Walker Moore, Jr. and girlfriend Lisa Koenig of Newport; two sisters, Charlene Garner of Newport and Rose Mary Little of Havelock; and grandson, Christian Fay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Charlotte Moore.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
