James Martin

James Martin, 38, of Newport, passed away Friday, June ­8­, 2018.

His memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home, Morehead City, officiated by Reverend Donnie Griggs.

He is survived by his wife, Kristin Vester Martin, of the home; daughter, Ava Annette Martin, of the home; son, Tyler Alan Martin, of the home; mother, Kathy Wilmoth Martin of Newton, NC; father, Alan Roy Martin of Newton, NC; brother, Paul Alan Martin and wife, Miranda, of Youngsville, NC; maternal grandparents, Bill and Marie Wilmoth; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellis James Martin and Eleanor Craven.

There will be a time of visitation following the service.

In lieu of flowers, there will be a memorial fund set up for the children at First Citizens Bank.
