James "JT" Gaskill, 74, of Cedar Island, died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Harris and Rev. Jamie Goodwin officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Gaskill of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth Fye and husband Gary of Thornhill, TN and Sabra Gaskill of Knoxville, TN; son, James Gaskill of Fort Union, SC; sister, Roberta Jean Willis of New Bern; three grandchildren, Mark Alexander Gaskill of Raleigh, Dakota Renee Fye of Thornhill, TN and Tyler Andrew Williams of Knoxville, TN; niece, Gina Hall and husband Brad of Sea Level; and two great nephews, Trey and Tristin Hall of Sea Level.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Lola Taylor Gaskill, and granddaughter, Erin Courtney Fye.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Munden Funeral Home.
