James Matthew Duffin,52, of Morehead City, NC, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012 at his home.
A private service will be held at the home.
Mr. Duffin was born in Manhasset, Nassua County, New York, graduated from Bishop Shanahan High School in Dowington, PA.
He is survived by his father, Edward A. Duffin of Morehead City, NC; dear friend, Linda Spader of Morehead City, NC; dear friend like a brother, Steven Castimore; sister and husband, Carolyn (Duffin) Uveges and John Uveges, nieces, Jacqueline Uveges and Lauren Uveges all of Cherry Hill, NJ; sister and husband, Audrey (Duffin) Carrick and William Carrick, niece, Natalie Carrick, and nephew, Will Carrick all of La Quinta, CA. Jim is also leaving behind many friends and business associates who hold him in very high regard.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory cane be made to the Carteret County NC Humane Society Animal Shelter, c/o Adrianne Forbes, 853 Hibbs Road, Newport, NC 28570-9126.
