James Bernard Dale, Sr.

James Dale, Sr., 85, of Beaufort, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Heritage Health Care at Taylor Place.
A funeral will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
James served in the US Marine Corp for three years, worked as a heating and AC mechanic, and he had a passion for dancing.
He is survived by his wife Victoria Dale of Beaufort; four children Joyce Daniels of Davis, Emily Dale of Texas, J B Dale of Texas, and Judy Dale of Raleigh; fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one brother Raymond Dale of Michigan; one sister Blanch Polly of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and his dog Lucky Dale.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gilmore and Emily Dale, and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
