Jalna Young Dickinson, 65; June 3 service
Jalna Young Dickinson, 65, of Newport, N.C. went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 30, 2011, while visiting family in Greenville, NC.
Jalna was a 1964 graduate of Morehead City High School. She attended Miller Motte Business School in Wilmington, and earned a Business Certification in
Accounting. Jalna was a cherished member of the public accounting firm Harvell & Company for over 25 years.
As the wife of the late Roy Thomas Dickinson II, a Navy Seabee, from 1965 until 1985, Jalna traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad.
She is survived by her brother, Clyde William Young III and nephews, Clyde William Young IV and Terry Andres Young of Morehead City, N.C., and brother Micheal Andres Young and wife, Diane of Greenville, N.C. Jalna is also survived by her mother-in-law, Vira Watson, of Wildwood, N.C and sisters-in-law Linda D. Pollack and husband Harold of Newport, N.C., Rachel D. Rawls and husband Howard of Wildwood, N.C.; and brothers- in-law, Dean Dickinson and wife Patsy of Havelock, N.C. and Don Dickinson and wife Lu of Havelock, N.C.
“Ms. Jalna” was a loving, giving and caring individual and she will be greatly missed by family, co-workers and friends.
Service will be held at Wildwood Presbyterian Church, 340 Wildwood Rd. in Newport on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
