Jacqueline "Jackie" (Youngson) Parker
June 9, 1939 — October 16, 2016
Jacqueline “Jackie” Parker, 77, of Morehead City, born on June 9, 1939, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Crystal Bluff Nursing and Rehab Center.
Her funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Davis with Pastor Ed Renfrow officiating. Interment will follow at Murphy Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackie was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church of Davis. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Baptist Young Women President for several years, she sang in the choir, was on the social committee and was a VBS Director. She loved her church and her family.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Parker and wife Charlotte of Jacksonville, FL, Michael Parker and wife Chrissy of Walkersville, MD, Annamarie Zook and husband Peter of Morehead City and Rebecca Parker of Morehead City; she had fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas and wife Barbara and Timothy and wife Denise Youngson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over thirty years, Gerald Albert Parker; parents, William Youngson and Eunice Murphy Smith; and her sister, Colleen Bathurst.
The family will welcome friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the church.
