Jacqueline McKnight

Jacqueline McKnight, 74, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, January 16­, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

A private service will be held in the near future.

Jackie was a member of Anne Street United Methodist Church of Beaufort where she was an active member. She will be long remembered for her selfless contributions to her church and community. One of her greatest gifts was her ability to fight one of the world’s most challenging diseases, ALS.

She is survived by her husband, Gray Ezzard; daughter, Paula Lashley Harris of Charlotte; grandchildren, Morgan and Brendan of Charlotte; and devoted cousin, Richard Burnette and wife Joyce of Winston-Salem.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Adelene McKnight of Winston-Salem.
