Jackie Holland Willis, Sr.

Jackie H. Willis, Sr., 75, of Harkers Island, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Carolina East Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Vergie Mae Cemetery with Bishop Kevin Nelson officiating.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Melvina Willis of the home; daughter, Renae Mason and husband Preston of Otway; son, Jackie H. Willis, Jr. and wife Julie of Willow Spring; six grandchildren, Mallory, Jaysa, Caroline, Beth, Jana and Braysen; sister, Mary Elza Gillikin of Otway; and two brothers, Bobby Willis of Smyrna and Kike Willis of Otway.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Willis, daddy and momma, Walter and Sadie Willis, and a sister, Maxine Lawrence.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Harkers Island.
