Izora "Jean" Bell
June 26, 1943 — April 17, 2015
Izora Jean Bell of Morehead City, died Friday 17, 2015 at Onslow Memorial Hospital after a brave and determined battle with leukemia.
As per Jean's request, there in no service is planned. Interment was at the Robinson Family Cemetery, Atlantic, NC.
Jean was born on June 26, 1943 to Carl Hewett Bell and Rebecca Robinson Bell. She was a graduate of Atlantic High School, East Carolina University, and The University of Tennessee. She enjoyed a career in marketing, working domestically and internationally for major corporations, including Corning, General Electric, Trane and Merrill Lynch. She lived in Jacksonville, FL; Dallas, TX; Corning, NY; Tyler, TX and Wilmington, NC before retiring back to Carteret County.
She is survived by a nephew, Carlton G. Hill and a great niece Alice Hill both of Haleiwa, HI along with a cousin George Nelson and wife, Janet of Morehead City, NC who helped tremendously during this battle. She is also survived by numerous other cousins.
Jean's wish is for those who mourn her passing, please do a good deed for someone and remember her while doing it.
