Ivory Rose (Lewis) Garner

Ivory Rose Lewis Garner, 87, of Broad Creek, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her home.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Broad Creek Community Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Holmes officiating.
She attended Broad Creek Church of God , and was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who was loved by all.
She is survived by two sons, Burvel Allen Garner, Jr. and Harley Primrose Garner both of Broad Creek ; daughter, Judy Lane Garner of Broad Creek; brother, Plymouth Ashley Lewis of Broad Creek; sister, Bonnie Graham of Mill Creek; also 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, her husband Burvel Garner, Sr., son, Denard Samuel Garner, three grandsons, Denny Garner, Primrose Garner, and Travis Garner, and a sister, Essie Taylor.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Broad Creek Church of God, 394 Broad Creek Loop Rd, Newport, NC 28570.
