Ivey Haskett
August 30, 1917 — June 13, 2010
Ivey V. Haskett, of New Bern, died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Haskett retired from Civil Service at Cherry Point. He owned and operated Haskett Well Drilling.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife Doris Haskett of New Bern; son, Robert Haskett and wife Patricia of Mooresville; daughter, Pam Bowlin and husband Ray of Banner Elk; two brothers, Junius "Buckshot" Haskett of Newport and Eugene Haskett of Gales Creek; three sisters, Oleta Garner of Gales Creek, Doris Rouse of Cedar Point and Faye Green of Newport; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Quinton Haskett.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
