Irwin "Pops" Camenson, 76, of Newport, died Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
Per Pop's request there will be no services.
He served in the U.S. Army, retired from Advance Auto Parts in Havelock, and the former owner of Granny's Auto Parts in Havelock.
He is survived by four children, Victor James Sluss and wife Ruth Ann of Newport, Beth Camenson of Las Vegas, NV, Howard Camenson of San Diego, CA, and Craig Camenson of Escondio, CA; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Fay Camenson.
