Irene Laughinghouse Grant, 90, of Beaufort, died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center.

Irene touched the lives of many and was an inspiration that will definitely be missed.
She is survived by two daughters Vicki Swartz and companion Bryan, and Nancy Opphile and husband Ken; a grandson Stephen Humphrey; a granddaughter Shannon Swartz; and four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Warren Grant, her mother, father, brothers and sister.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
