Ira Long, Sr,, 65, of Newport, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 am Monday at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He is survived by a son, Ira Long, Jr. of Newport; three sisters, Linda Riggs and Sharon Garner both of Newport and Carolyn Rouse of Farmville; also two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:00 am prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
