Ira Day

Ira Paul Day, 68, of Cedar Island, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at his residence.
Services will be held11:30 am Wednesday at Pilgrim's Rest Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Stott officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Day of the home; two daughters, Sherri Day Styron and Paula Day, both of Cedar Island; four brothers, Gilbert Day and wife Connie of Newport, Lester Day and wife Alice of Cedar Island, Carlton Day and wife Cindy of Cedar Island and Rodney Day and wife Yvonne of Beaufort; two sisters, Agatha Goodwin and husband Leroy of Cedar Island and Nancy Willis and husband Gene of Williston; two grandchildren, Jillian Renee Styron and Lucas Paul Styron and a great grandchild, Brayden Hunter Range.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Myrtie Day.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Island Community Cemetery Fund.
