Iantha (Muggsy) Stenner Whittaker, 69, of Newport, died Thursday, November 4, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 Saturday at Munden Funeral Home. Private services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her husband Richard E. Whittaker of the home; daughters, Karen M. Hansen of the home, Kristine W. Davis of Newport, Beverly W. Wheeler of Conway, SC; sons, Jeffrey M. Hansen of Rockhill, SC, and James (Sam) Hansen of Newport; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister Carolyn Hastreiter of Indiana.
