Hubert F. Brohawn, Jr.

Hubert Foxwell Brohawn, Jr., 71, of Davis, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Carteret Health Care.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Davis Original Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Mercer, Rev. Jimmy Webster, and Rev. Keith Wall officiating. Burial will be private following the service.

Hubert was a longtime member, deacon  and Sunday School Superintendent of Davis Original Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from U.S. Fish & Wildlife after 26 years of service.

Hubert is survived by his wife, Anne Brohawn of the home; son, Hubert Brohawn, III of Baltimore, MD; step-sons, Pernell Willis and wife Beverly of Newport, and Shannon Sparks and wife Millie of Greenville; grandchildren, Caroline, Jackson, Mitchell, Alex and wife Lisa,  and Tanner; great grandson, Caden; brothers, Steven Brohawn and wife Barbara of Cambridge, MD, Gary Brohawn and wife Carol Ann of Cambridge, MD.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert Brohawn, Sr. and Shirley Brohawn.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Davis Original Free Will Baptist Church.
