Hettie Mae (Miller) Chappell

Hettie Mae Chappell, 92, of Morehead City, died Wednesday June 20, 2012 at Harborview Health and Rehabilitation Facility.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at St. Peters United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Stallsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter Susan Mizell of Newport, three sons Gurney Mizell of Newport, Worth Mizell of California, MD., and Larry Mizell of Las Vegas, NV: nine grandchildren: and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ulrich Mizell, husband Ervin Chappell, her parents McDuffy and Ethel Miller, a sister Rosa Willis, brothers Gerald Nixon, John Nixon, George Nixon and James Nixon.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
