Hester (Davenport) Mason

Hester D. Mason, 101, of Atlantic, died Thursday, November 11, 2010, at Britthaven of Newport.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Atlantic United Methodist Church with Rev. David Thick officiating. Interment will follow at Atlantic Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Mason was a member of Atlantic United Methodist Church. She was a retired school teacher and member of Alpha Delta Kappa.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph V. Mason of Havelock, and Steven Dennis Mason of Huntersville, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Mason, and her parents, May and Vann Davenport, and step-son, Clyde Mason, Jr.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday at Munden Funeral Home.
