Herbert William Snead, III

Herbert William Snead, lll, 56, of Newport, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2019.

There will be a gathering of friends and family from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Crow’s Nest Yacht Club, Atlantic Beach, NC.

Herb was born to Herbert Snead, ll and the late Cora Snead of Jacksonville, NC. He was a Sea Captain and fishing was his passion. Herb was well known by the fishing community and was well loved by all who met him.

He is survived by his sister, Eileen Snead; brother, Gene Scott; his fiancé, Robin Lewis and their dogs Guy and Halo, whom he loved very much.
