Herbert L. Clements

Herbert L. Clements, Sr., 75, of Newport, passed away Friday, July 6­, 2018, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

His funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by Reverend Charles Smith and Mr. Gayle Payne. Interment will follow at Graham Memorial Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Frances Clements, of the home; daughter, Kimberly Reneé Clements and husband, Lee McDaniel, of Wilson; sons, Herbert Lee Clements, Jr., and wife, Amy Austin Clements, of Havelock, George Louis Clements and wife, Melissa Jean, of Newport; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Clements of Middlesex; sisters, Betty Southerland of Bowling Green, KY, Virginia Denininger of Newport;, grandchildren, Lee, Chris, Thomas, Will, Justin Rebecca, Daniel, Skyler, Alex, Faye, Aaron; and great-grandchild, Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Alan Clements; parents, Samuel Clements and Julia Lewis; and brothers, David Clements and Henry W. Clements.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
