Henry "Bud" Clements

Henry "Bud" Clements, Sr., 74, of Newport, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Batts officiating. Interment will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Clements of the home; two daughters, Barbara Haynes and husband, Lee of Sneads Ferry and Shirley Jean Ozmore and husband, Timothy of Newport; one son, Henry "Buddy" Clements and wife, Carolyn of Havelock; six grandchildren, Donald Todd and wife, Jessica of Newport, Christopher Ozmore of Tabor City, Niki Ozmore of Newport, Bobbi Lynn Clements and Katie Clements, both of Greenville, and B.J. Clements of Newport; four great-grandchildren, Alexus Todd of Greenville, Justin Todd of Newport, Brandon Todd and Lydia Todd, both of Greenville; two sisters, Bettie Sutherland of Bowling Green, KY and Virginia Novella Deininger of Newport; one brother, Herbert Clements of Mill Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Cornelius Clements and Julia Maude Taylor Clements.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
