Henry Marshall Dupree

Henry Marshall Dupree, 78, passed away on September 15, 2018 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, surrounded by his loving family. He endured a long battle with Lymphoma.

Funeral services will be announced at a later.

Marshall was born in Johnston County to the late Nellie and Lloyd Dupree. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany for two years He owned and operated The House and Lawn Garden Center in Ridgewood Shopping Center in Raleigh for twenty-five years where he enjoyed warm relationships with his many customers. Upon his retirement, Marshall and his wife, Luci, moved to the coast where he spent lots of time pursuing his favorite hobby, fishing. He enjoyed deep sea fishing trips.

Marshall loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved cooking out and watching sports on television. He was an avid fan of The Carolina Hurricanes and The Carolina Panthers. His home with Luci was where his heart was, and they had many wonderful years together.

Marshall is survived by his loving wife, Luci; sons, Jason Allen Dupree and Christopher Marshall Dupree, his wife, Sonia, and their children, Delaney and Cullen; and sister, Brenda and her husband, Ed Torrella, of Marathon, Florida.
