Helen Willis, 82, of Broad Creek, while surrounded by her family, went home to be with her Lord on June 24, 2011.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Broad Creek Church of God with Rev. Wes Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Broad Creek Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her husband, Bob C. Willis of the home; daughters, Patsy Smith and husband, Rudy and Janet Saxbury and husband, Ron, all of Broad Creek; sister, Ruth Bell of Morehead City; grandchildren, Denise Lashley, Samantha Rhoades, Chris Smith, Rebecca Rivers, and Emily Rivers; and great-grandchildren, JC Lashley, Shana Lashley, Tyler Chadwick, Brooke Chadwick, Dalton Marlow, Connor Rhoades, Emmalynn Smith, and Ella Smith.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Broad Creek Church of God, 394 Broad Creek Loop Road, Newport, NC 28570.
