Helen Laura Steeves, 92, of Havelock, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 23, 2016 at Oscar Davis Cemetery in Davis, NC with Rev. Ed Renfrow, Rev. Jimmy Mercer and Rev. Keith Wall officiating.
Helen was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Havelock and served in the USMC during WWII.
She is survived by her daughter, Susie Piner and husband Louie of Davis; son, Michael Francis Steeves and wife Leece of Swink, CO; seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, MacKenzie King Steeves; a son, Thomas Patrick Steeves, Sr.; her parents, Stanley and Helen Rachwal Urbanski; two brothers, Henry and Stanley; and sister, Christine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Annunciation Catholic School, 246 E. Main St, Havelock, NC 28532.
