Helen Stone Mason, 84, of Atlantic, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Carteret Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Atlantic United Methodist church, with Reverend George Gouge and Reverend Paul Harris officiating.
Helen is survived by her son, Billy Mason; brother, Owen Stone; four grandchildren, Lauren Mason Thorn, Alan Mason, Joseph Mason, and William Mason; and three great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mason; parents, Clyde and Sallie Stone; and son, Keith Mason.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Atlantic United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choosing.
