Hazel Schell

Hazel Schell, 80, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Gethsemane Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Gary Carroll.

Hazel was born on July 26, 1940, in Bloomington, Indiana, to the late Basil and Mae Rowe. She worked in the banking industry for a number of years where she enjoyed interacting with her customers at Wachovia.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Steel of New Bern, NC and son, Ed Schell of Franklin, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Philip Schell and son, Jeffery Scott Schell.
