Harry E. Wertman, 76, of Broad Creek, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at his residence.
Mr. Wertman was a veteran and retired from the USMC after 26 years of service. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and VFW # 9960 in Swansboro.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, February 7, 2010, at Broad Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Cribb and Rev. George Cribb officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Wertman; daughter, Karen Salter and husband Perry and son, Richard D. Brown and wife Rebecca, all of Newport; nine grandhildren and nine great grandchildren.
