Harry George Gotte, III
March 5, 1938 — January 7, 2015
Harry G. Gotte, III, 76, of Beaufort, passed peacefully Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital, with his family by his side.
The family will host memorial mass 11:00 am Friday at St. Egbert's Catholic Church with Father Tom Davis officiating.
Harry spent his entire career as an engineer specializing in the manufacturing of overhead cranes with a keen eye for design and details. He was a member of the Morehead/Beaufort Yacht Club. He also loved to fish and work in his garage.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Anne Gotte of Beaufort; a son Kevin McCarthy and wife Nikki of Beaufort; mother in-law Blanche Forelle of Sea Level; and a granddaughter Leanna McCarthy of Beaufort.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Dorothy Gotte, II.
