Harold Myers

Harold W. Myers, 92, of Cedar Point, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Crystal Bluffs.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 10:00 am Wednesday at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Manley Rose officiating.

Mr. Myers served in the U.S. Army, a lifetime member of VFW Post of Cape Carteret , also the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum.

He is survived by his companion of 40 years, Joan Rife of the home; daughter, Jeanne Yasi of Holland, OH; two sons, Robert "Bob" Myers of Slingerland, NY and Richard "Rick" Myers of Sloatsburg, NY; and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, PO Box 556, Harkers Island, NC 28531 or Alzheimers Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
