Harold Stevens Guthrie, 70, of Harkers Island, died Tuesday September 18, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be at a later time.
He is survived by three sons Steven Shannon Guthrie and wife Suzanne of Beaufort, Ricky Kevin Guthrie of Gloucester, and Gene Brian Guthrie of Morehead City: five grandchildren Andrea Russell, Kevin Guthrie, Benjamin Guthrie, Katelyn Guthrie, and Daniel Guthrie: one great granddaughter Hayley Guthrie: and his dog Bubba.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Carteret County Humane Society PO Box 357 Newport, NC 28570.
