Harold Wright Earp

Harold W. Earp, 91, of Morehead City, formerly of Wake County, NC, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his home.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Gethsemane Memorial Park officiated by, John B. Thompson, Jr.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a pilot in the Naval Air Force. He was the owner and operator of two restaurants in Atlantic Beach, Harolds Restaurant and Patches.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Hewitt and husband Ed of Evans, GA; sisters, Betty Booth of Lake Gaston and Joy Harrington of Cary; four grandchildren, Talmadge Hewitt, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Elizabeth Smith and husband Kevin, Kristine Hewitt, and Spencer Hewitt and wife Shana; seven great-grandchildren; Meghan, Kristian, Courtney, Jaelyn, Gavin, Alexis, and Sawyer; and special friends, Ruth Webb and Barbara Harrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Hicks; parents, James Clifton Earp and Ethel Frances Earp; sisters, Etheleen Woodard and Jessie Ellington; and brother, Glenn Earp.
