GySgt. Lloyd "Jack" Faulkner Jr. USMC Retired

GySgt. Lloyd “Jack” Faulkner Jr., USMC Retired, 71, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Services will be held on Friday, October 22nd. Everyone is welcome to attend the 8 a.m. visitation at Munden Funeral home at 908 Lake Road in Havelock. Jack will be laid to rest at Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC, at 10 a.m. Due to COVID restrictions, please contact Jack's family if you wish to attend the burial as attendance will be limited.

Jack was born on September 24, 1950, in Buffalo, New York, to the late Lloyd and Patricia Faulkner.  He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years, retiring with honors.  Jack was also employed with Craven County Schools as an Educator.  He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amie Faulkner, of the home; daughter, Stephanie Meade and husband Jeff of Englewood, OH; sons, Lloyd W. Faulkner III of Charlotte, NC, Frank P. Faulkner and wife Andrea of Fort Mill, SC, and Alan J. Faulkner and wife Nicole of King George, VA; sister, Peggy; and his beloved grandchildren, Nala, Jade, Samantha, Colby, Madelyn, Kaleb, Amiyah, Julian, Leila, and Isabelle.

Aside from his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother Frank.
