Guy Dill Styron

Guy Dill Styron, 89, of Peletier, died Wednesday January 23, 2013, at Carolina East Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
Guy served in the US Coast Guard in WWII, worked with Corps of Engineers for over 25 years. He also retired from the NC Ferry Division out of Cedar Island, and he was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church in Longs, SC.
He is survived by two sons Johnny Styron and wife Jenesa of Peletier, and Robert Eugene Styron and wife Rebecca of Hampton, VA; two step daughters DaNelle Murphey and husband Dr. Julian of Augusta, GA, and Lynn Rosario of Green Sea, SC: six grandchildren Stephanie Styron Kellerman and husband Joe, Amanda Styron, Rob Styron, Meghan Clontz and husband Chris, Hunter Styron, and Hannah Styron: eight step grandchildren Deidre Thigpen, Kristen Murphey, Alexander Murphey, Tina Fullwood, Stacey Huggins, Kirsten Rosario, Ray Rosario, and Johnny Rosario: and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Buck Creek Baptist Church 11483 Hwy 905 N. Longs, SC 29568.
