Graham W. Corley

Graham Corley, 83, of Newport, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at his home.

His funeral service will be held at Faith Evangelical Bible Church on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend David Van Der Decker officiating. Interment will follow at Amariah Garner Cemetery.

Graham was a member of the Faith Evangelical Bible Church.  He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He retired from Eastern Airline after almost 30 years.  Graham moved to Carteret County and married Fran.   He enjoyed dealing in the military surplus and antiques and was skilled with his hands and known for carpentry and machining.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife, Frances “Fran” Corley; son, Eddie Corley and wife Vickie of Sandston, Va.; grandchildren, E.J. Corley of Richmond, Va. and Michael Corley of Mechanicsville, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Corley and Gladys Butler Corley, daughter, Ann Marie Hensley.

The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
