Gordon Bill Rouse

Gordon Bill Rouse, 85, of Newport passed away at his home Thursday February 14, 2013.
A funeral will be held 11:00 Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
He was born Ocober 11, 1927 to the late Snowdie and Carrie Rouse. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Robert Rouse. Loved ones left behind are a son Gordon Rouse of Newport, daughter in-law Glenda Rouse of Newport, grandaughters Ginger Piner of Newport, and Pam Morris of Otway: great grandchildren Brandon Chambers of Newport, Kymberly Rouse of Newport, Collin Rouse of Newport, Samantha Sanders of Harkers Island, and Ronald Sanders, Jr. of Harkers Island: and a sister Billie Morris of Greenville.
Bill was a painter most of his life, upon retiring from painting, he spent his days working in a junk yard. Pop you will be missed.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Protectors of Homeless Pets 7209 Archers Creek Dr. Emerald Isle, NC 28594.
