Gloria Micucci Johnson Moberg

Gloria Micucci Johnson Moberg, 91, of New Bern, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Carolina East Medical Center.

Gloria was an avid golfer throughout most of her life. She was a loyal and supportive Marine wife to both of her husbands. She was a strong woman that was shaped by her experience living through the Great Depression and multiple wars.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Olkowski and her husband, Ronnie of New Bern and Sandra Beall and her husband, Joseph “Jody” of Havelock; grandchildren, Leslie Olkowski, Kimberly Mena and her husband, Beto, Courtney Ramos, and her husband, Carlos, and Joey Beall; great-grandchildren, Zachary Moore, Samantha Moore, Santiago Mena, Marissa Mena, and Giovanna Ramos.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester I. Johnson; her second husband, Herbert “Walt” Moberg; daughter, JoAnn Johnson; son, Terry Johnson; and parents, Tony and Angelina Micucci.
