Glenda Springle

Glenda Gooding Springle, 77, of Beaufort, passed away, Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard C. Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Carteret Memorial Gardens.
Glenda was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Beaufort. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Springle of the home; daughter, Joyce Ann Willis and husband Pete Willis of Beaufort; son, Kenneth Edward Gooding of Beaufort. She is also survived by five step-children; three grandchildren, 22 step-grandchildren, and five step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, Elsie Lockhart and Charles Lockhart, father, Warden Gillikin, sister, Phylis Gillikin, and two brothers, Leon Gillikin and Horrace Gillikin.
The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
