A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Munden Funeral Home.
Mr. Fletcher served his country in the US Air Force until 1985 when he retired as Chief MSgt. He went on to become the Chief of Security at Carteret Community College where he was affectionately known as "Captain Glen", retiring in 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Fletcher of the home; daughters, Sheri Siddell of Glendale, AZ and Susan Fletcher of Newport, NC; son, Scott Fletcher of Oklahoma City, OK; step-sons, Jason Vennard of Wells, ME and Justin Vennard of Newport, NC; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; brothers Roger Fletcher of FL and Bob Fletcher of OH; and sisters, Beverly Hayford and Shirley Pratt, both of Vermont.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, May 20, 2011 at the funeral home.
