Gladys Rose Malonson Rowe

Gladys Rose Malonson Rowe, 81, of Newport died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Carteret General Hospital.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. John Grayson officiating.
Mrs. Rowe was born to Leo and Gladys Malonson on June 16, 1929 in Lowell, MA, where she married Carlton Rowe on October 17, 1953. She resided in the Newport, NC area for the past 29 years.
She is survived by her sisters, Ruthy Barton, Dorothy Webb, and Barbara Bowe; four children, Debbie Dennison and husband, Don, Sherry D'Amico and husband, Mark, Mark Rowe and wife, Michelle, and Mike Rowe and wife, Christina; 16 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leo Malonson, Richard Malonson, and George Malonson.
