Gladys M. (Moore) Lewis

Gladys M. Lewis, 86, of Salter Path, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Crystal Coast Worship Center with the Rev. Bobby Howard and Rev. Earl Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mrs. Lewis was born January 17, 1925 in Carteret County to the late Alex Moore and Fearba Willis Moore. She attended the Crystal Coast Worship Center and was employed with Frost Seafood House for over 30 years. She was known as a Mother to many.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Harvey of the home; grandchildren, Jordan Harvey and Lindsey Harvey both of the home; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over sixty years, Dewey Lewis, brothers, Tom Moore and Leslie Moore, sisters, Gertrude Guthrie, Mattie Guthrie and a niece, Violet Howard.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday at the church.
