Gilbert Bruce Gibbs

Gilbert Bruce Gibbs, 75, of Beaufort, passed away Wednesday, September 11­, 2019, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Bruce loved being on the water and enjoyed his time working as a commercial fisherman. He was a special man who was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Gibbs of Scotland Neck; sisters, Donna Thomas of Wanchese, Betty Lou Gibbs of Manteo and Sherleen Gibbs Johnson of Columbia SC; stepdaughter, Regina Lynn Gaskill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Matilda Gibbs and brother, Darrell Keith Gibbs.
