Giacomina “Beautiful Jackie” Fragale

Giacomina “Beautiful Jackie” Fragale, 99, originally from Montgomery, West Virginia, currently residing in Newport, North Carolina, passed away Friday, June 8­, 2018 at the Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City, officiated by Chaplain Rick Brooks. Final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Morehead City.

Jackie was a tremendous cook. She delighted in feeding her friends and family and her food was loved by all.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Fox, of Newport, North Carolina; sister, Angelina “Angie” McBrayer of Texas, Rosemary Tascione of New York, Elaine Milillo of Georgia; brothers, Vencenzo “Jimmie” Lucci of West Virginia, Catino “Cottie” Lucci of Nevada; grandchildren, Deborah Gascon, Jonni Bailey, Shannon Gilliam, James Justice, Kristina Knox, Shawn Fox, Johnny Justice, Rebecca Myers; great-grandchildren, Dylan Gascon, Brock Gascon, William Gilliam, Donald Shroyer, Lorelei Knox, Maris Knox, Juliet Knox, Shawn Fox, Jr., Draco Fox, Diana Justice, Gemma Justice, Cassidy Fox, Jayden Fox, Dylan Fox; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly.

Jackie passed away on the 23rd anniversary of her daughter’s death, Karen Hanson of California. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Giovanni and Catrina Lucci; sisters, Calogera “Lillian” Chieves, Providence “Patty” Warren; brothers, Giuseppe “Joe” Lucci, Pietro “Pete” Lucci; and infant brother, Pietro “Pete” Lucci.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
