Gerardus Thedorus Hauwert Sr., 73, of Havelock and formerly of San Jose, California, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Carteret Health Care.

Following a funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, he will be laid to rest at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in California.
